Mirambeena Motel was purchased by Sue Beames and Stephen Edwards in early 2006. The Motel was in quite a delapitated state with beds and upgrading still the same as they were back in 1961. When the property was originally built by BHP as a trainee centre for engineers.
Sue and Stephen began an internal renovation of the Motel in February 2007 and finally in June of that year, after an initial $400,000.00 spent on the refurbishment, they proudly opened the reborn Mirambeena Motel.

Since then over the years they have continued with rebuilding and new building of Motel units originally starting with 38 Rooms, they now boast 58 rooms on site and a further 60 rooms off site at the legends estate, all of the off site rooms are all ensuited and are laid out as 3 bedroom villas with self catering available.

Mirambeena Motel now offers all new Queen size bed through out, large flat screen tv’s all with independent seperate R/C air conditioning, plus many more state-of-the-art facilities. The motel offers a free daily shuttle bus service to and from the airport and Legends Estate for all their clients.
